Our client, a Tugun-based hair salon owner, came to us with a clear goal — to stop leasing and purchase her own commercial space to create her dream salon.

She already had the builders lined up. Our job was to find the right property.

The brief called for approximately 100m², street frontage, ample parking and vacant possession, anywhere from Tweed Heads to Palm Beach, with a budget of $700,000.

Finding a suitable commercial property with vacant possession was always going to be the challenge. We were offered several opportunities off-market, but kept coming back to a space in Tweed Heads South that ticked the important boxes.

Before moving forward, we had the builders inspect the property to make sure it would work for the proposed salon fit-out and completed our due diligence, including reviewing the strata records.

With everything stacking up, our client moved forward with the purchase.

It’s an exciting outcome that gives her the opportunity to create the salon she wants while owning the commercial property her business operates from.
